Journaling can be an enjoyable and effective tool to enhance your family history research and pass along your memories and values too. Record the details and stories unique to your personal and family history by journaling. Everyone has a story ─ why not tell your story in your own words through journaling?
Some journaling tips:
• Choose a comfortable location • Set time aside daily or weekly • Limit the amount of time you spend writing so journaling doesn’t feel like a chore
The Genealogy Department of Cuyahoga County Public Library’s Fairview Park Branch will offer a journaling program on the first Wednesday of every month from 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Jumpstart Your Journaling is an opportunity to record your memories, be inspired by journaling prompts and meet others who enjoy journaling. Join us at the Fairview Park Branch to write and share your work on Wednesday, September 1st, October 6th, November 3rd and December 1st.
Journaling Prompt:
Write about your hardest challenge.
