This spring's story...

"The School Play"

Here's the first sentence:

Once upon a time…

...there was a shy little boy who always wanted to run the school play.  So he decided to ask his teacher if he could make a school play.  The teacher told hime he could make up a play.  Yes, ask the principal if you can do it Tuesday at the assembly.  He wanted to have the play about being safe and courage.  The teacher said that he had to practice for it.

The following night he had a dream about a play that was about being safe, and courage and when he got up he grabbed a piece of paper and a pencil and started writing the characters and the script of the play and gave it to the principal for approval.  Then he went to the hallway and let people know about the play. Six people joined, so they went to the school auditorium and practiced, Practiced, and PRACTICED!
