The Parma Heights Branch is located in a community of 21,448 and offers the atmosphere of a small town library with all the benefits of a large, modern system of branches. It sits in the Greenbrier Commons area along with the city pool and cultural center.
The single-story building houses approximately 80,000 books and 5,000 audiovisual materials in its unique 15,700 square foot circular structure.

The Friends of the Parma Heights Library has a rich history. Hedy Werner, Branch Manager from 1976-1998, began to organize a small group of library users during the fall of 1976. The Friends of Parma Heights Library was first chartered in March of 1977. During its first year, enough money was raised to purchase a lighted library sign to be placed on Pearl Road.
